The hotel is situated close to the shopping district of Harburg. This is just the right place for strolling or having a cup of coffee outdoors. The nearby Harburg district-hall and some half-timbered houses from the 17th and 18th centuries are worth seeing. You can find them in the Lämmertwiete (old district of Harburg) where many bars and restaurants are located. Take a walk around the Außenmühlenteich lake or through the Harburg city park which is one of the most beautiful parks in Northern Germany.
The hotel is an ideal starting-point for a trip to the southern outskirts of Hamburg, for instance to the Alte Land or the Harburg Mountains.
